That's a great questi...Thanks for the comment. That's a great question. Honestly, I haven't really been comforting myself or rewarding myself with anything. On the weekends, if I'm really stressed out, I go for a long walk. That ALWAYS helps. I put my headphones in my ear, play some upbeat music, and walk until I don't feel stressed anymore.

As far as rewarding, I'm focusing on the number on the scale being my reward. I'm not really in the mindset of my weight loss being some kind of challenge that needs to be rewarded, honestly. I've gotten more in to thinking that this weight is a curse, and I have to work hard to get rid of it. Seeing a smaller number on the scale each week gives me good enough satisfaction without really needing to do something special.

I hope that answers your question. And, thanks again!!Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13807379587473251820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5366416352072916185.post-55429357990050089392013-10-01T05:16:18.301-05:002013-10-01T05:16:18.301-05:00Thanks, Friend!!! That's the stuff that's going to get you to your goal. You literally can not fail if you don't give up.

I have a question for you too -- you talked above about comforting yourself/your daughter with ice cream. This is a big weakness for me too -- emotional eating. How have you been rewarding and comforting yourself recently, now that you're not using food? I always need ideas here! Ever....Girl - never ever say you are a bad mother. Ever. You are the farthest thing from it. In the moment our daughters hearts are breaking we try anything - even if we regret it later. It was a mistake...but in no way makes you a bad mom. We all do the best we can and in the world of getting healthy - relapse is part of the journey. It's a relapse...because you're fighting an addiction. And I have no doubt you'll get "sober" again.♥ Drazil ♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/10177140029694038645noreply@blogger.com
